Þórsmörk is a magnificent valley named after Þór (Thor), the god of Thunder.
The tour takes us to the graceful Seljalandsfoss, where the sure-footed can walk behind the waterfall.
We stop at Gígjökull which ends up in a incredible glacial lagoon. Then we have to cross difficult unabridged glacial rivers and rough tracks in order to reach Þórsmörk.
There is a great opportunity for hiking in Þórsmörk. A must for nature lovers, over 170 species of plants and moss.
