This tour goes through Þingvellir National Park, the heart of Icelandic democracy, and onto the dramatic Highland road across the bleak and haunted Kaldidalur to explore Langjökull, the country’s second largest glacier, on foot or by jeep, depending on the day’s conditions.
Then it continues to the Borgarfjörður to see Hraunfossa - the enchanting lava waterfalls - and the cascades of Barnafoss. The tour continues to the romantic and historical Reykholt, the home of Icelands great saga writer, Snorri Sturluson, and returns to Reykjavik via Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful geothermal spring, and Hvalfjörður - Whale fjord.
In this tour we drive to the part of Langjökull glacier. In Icelands climatic conditions your safety is our priority. Our tours therefore are designed to be flexible to necessary change.
