If you are looking for a great weekend getaway you have found it! The Iceland adventure weekend is an action packed three day trip in breathtaking nature. Explore the rugged and ever changing glaciers and raft down one of the beautiful rivers descending from them. Witness the bubbling hot springs erupt from the ground and relax in a sky blue lagoon in the middle of a lava field. Does it sound too good to be true? Only one way to find out…see you in Iceland!
Guaranteed departures: Trips starts every Friday from the 1st of June to the 31st of August from the Cintamani Center on Laugavegur 11. Minimum 2 persons, maximum 14 persons. Please book your spot on the trip in advance!
Rough Itinerary:
Friday: The Golden Circle and rafting on the Hvítá river.
Saturday: Glacial hike, optional ice climbing and Skógafoss waterfall.
Sunday: Whale watching and Blue Lagoon in the afternoon.

Detailed itinerary:
Day 1 / Friday
On Friday morning we head out for an amazing visit to the Golden Circle. There we will see the Geysir hot spring area, the Gullfoss waterfall and Þingvellir national park. We dine at Drumbo base camp before we raft the beautiful and exciting Hvítá river. Afterwards you can relax in the hot tubs or sauna.
Day 2 / Saturday
On Saturday morning we head along the South Coast towards the glaciers. Arriving at Sólheimjökull glacier we gear up for a glacier hike. Sólheimajökull is a crawling glacier and is therefore rugged, cracked and utterly breathtaking. After about an hour of glacier hiking we stop at some of the many ice walls. There you can, under the supervision of experts, try your hand at climbing the ice. On the way back to Reykjavík we make a short stop at the Skógafoss waterfall.
Day 3 / Sunday
On Sunday morning we head out to the open sea, joining a whale watching excursion from the Reykjavik down town harbor. Afterwards heading to the world famous Blue Lagoon for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
Schedule:
Friday: 9:00 AM for the Golden Circle & Rafting, back in RVK at 19:00.
Saturday: 9:00 AM for the glacier trip, back in RVK at 18:00.
Sunday: 9:00 AM for the Whale Watching & Blue Lagoon, back in RVK at 18:00. (Note: optional time schedule can be changed up on your request).

Includes all transfers with pick up from Reykjavík and packed lunch (note: no lunch included on Sunday).
Does not include flights, dinner or accommodation (book accommodation in Reykjavik).
