People Asked to Send New Iceland Video to Friends

Now that there are no more eruptions in Iceland, the Icelandic tourist industry and government have started a massive nationwide campaign to attract tourists to the country. The theme is "Inspired by Iceland."

“We are sure that now that people know that Iceland is safe again that they will start flocking to the country,” says Minister of Industry and Tourism Katrín Júlíusdóttir.

Today, Thursday is the day that all Icelanders should send their friends and family members abroad a link to a new video showing the wonders of the country. The video shows many of the most popular places in Iceland and some very lively people dancing to the beat of "Jungle Drum," Emilian Torrini’s hit song. see *informations about Iceland
